Welcome to P-4 

         It’s great to be here at Laurelhurst!  I'm thrilled to be teaching at a terrific school alongside a fantastic group of fellow educators! 

          Although this is my third year teaching at Laurelhurst, it is my tenth year teaching in the area.  I’m a UW alumni – Go Huskies! - and I graduated with my masters in teaching from Seattle University. I’m one of those rare native Seattleites, born and raised, and proud of it! This is a beautiful area and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Some of my favorite things to do are: fishing, backpacking, biking, gardening/landscaping, building things, cooking, traveling, reading, and playing with my children: Rheya (a first grader this year) and Henry (in preschool).

 

           So far it looks to be a fantastic year with a terrific group of fifth graders.  Looking forward to much more learning and fun ahead!
